DCSCC Membership is based on your participation of one of the DCSCC affiliated clubs, as listed at the top of the page.

Thanks for the help. But, saying "COMPRISED OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE [insert clubs here]" does not really convey the idea that joining any of those clubs makes you a DCSAA member. Especially when the event sign-ups list a DCSCC membership price as if it was a stand alone club. By that definition, technically I am am member and so is every other SCCA member in the country because there are no official regional memberships in SCCA. You are a member of SCCA in a region, not the other way around.

You have a region of record for SCCA. NWOR and SVR for example do not have a representative to DCSCC so you'd need to have "Detroit" listed as your Region on your SCCA membership card to be a member of the Detroit Council of Sport Car Clubs.

So how am I supposed to become a member if I already am an SCCA member? My membership expires in June.

Is your SCCA region of record Detroit? Then you are considered to be a member of Council. You don't need to do anything other than click the button "DCSCC members" and enter "Detroit SCCA" as your club afflilation on entry forms. If Detroit is not your SCCA region of record then you need to either change your region of record to Detroit or add Detroit and become a dual region SCCA member. Look on detroit-scca.org under membership info.

Adam, the rulebook isn't massively changed from the 2013 version. If you're unsure, we should be able to help classify your car correctly on site. Just ask someone.
