update on CCM helmet rule
Our National Club rule for helmets is "not more than 10 years old".
So, any Snell 2000 or Snell 2005 helmet is OK. Any Snell 95 helmet with a date of manufacture less than 10 years old is also OK. There is/was a sticker inside the helmet with that date.
