2012 DCSCC Points After 7 Events

Thanks CCM for hosting event #7.  Helicopter deliveries make tight schedules, but the event went off without a hitch.

Important Info regarding CCM event Aug. 19

UPDATE 8/16/12!!!!

Information regarding the August 19thCCM Autocross at the GM Hamtramck Facility:

The GM Hamtramck plant has revised their schedule for the helicopter activity. Please do not arrive on site before10:00 am.  GM will be receiving a delivery via helicopter and we will not have access to the site until 10:00 am.  All scheduled times will be delayed by two hours to accommodate this.  The schedule for the day  will be as follows:

Registration 11:00-1:00

Tech 11:00-2:00

Driver's Meeting 12:45

First Car Approximately 1:00

Also, due to the delayed schedule and a planned club activity that evening, expect four runs MAXIMUM, and possibly three runs if we're further delayed in setting up.  It is also highly unlikely that we will have fun runs.

Champ event #6 8/12/12 hosted by AROC

The Alfa Romeo Club is hosting champ event #6.

This event will take place at Oakland University Lot #5, near the intersection of Walton and Squirrel on the NW corner of campus.

Registration and worker volunteer signup opens 9:15 to 1:00
Tech Inspection opens 9:15-9:30- closes 1:00
Course open for walking approx 10:00
Driver's Meeting: 10:45

First car out immediatly after Driver's Meeting-11:00

AROC members $20
DCSCC Members $25
Free Souls $30 

Please note:  Please arrive early enough to register, have your car inspected, and allow time to walk the course.  There will be no opportunity to walk the course after runs begin.  Everyone is expected to volunteer for a worker position as it is only possible to conduct a fun and safe event with adequate workers.
