AROC 6/1 Update again

Since our main webpage is down for now, please check out our old webpage for some extra information.

We are very much on for tomorrow, and if you look at the Red Bull Races page, we are not in the area for most viewing, but we are at the beginning/end of the course, so we should see some planes. Pretty cool to be in Detroit and autocross cars at the same time planes are doing the exact same thing on the river.

AROC Champ Event, this weekend, Belle Isle update

Just a reminder that AROC is hosting an autocross this weekend.

Since our webpage is down (hackers....), I'll post details here-

Tech and registration offically open at 10am.

Drivers meeting around 10:30am
First car out scheduled for 11am
Tech and registration close at 1pm

We are planning to do fun runs, which will be free to those who volunteer to work, but $2/run for all others.

Costs will be $15 for AROC members, $20 for council members, and $25 for all others. There will be at least 4 runs per driver.

Closer to the event, the AROC single event hotline will go up, and details will be posted then.

And don't forget that this is Red Bull Air Races weekend on the river, so expect some traffic getting on and off Belle Isle.

Results for Champ Event #3

Results are up for Champ Event #3.

AROC Champ Event, June 1, Belle Isle

AROC Detroit is hosting DCSCC Champ event #4 on June 1.

The event will be held at Belle Ilse, tech and registration offically open at 10am, close at 1pm, and we hope to have cars starting running at 11am.

Cost will be $15 for AROC members, $20 for DCSCC members, and $25 for all others.

NOTE- June 1 is the weekend of the Red Bull Air Races, so expect some traffic as you come in and leave. But we should see some pretty spectacular flying!!

DCSCC Series Registration

If you have not registered for the DCSCC Series yet, you can still do it. As an added bonus, if you register before the next event on May 18th, it will be effective back to the first event of the year. This limited amnesty applies to team entries for clubs as well.

So, make sure you get your registration form to the registrar and your team lists to the pointskeeper before the next event.
